"Distortion"

Distortion is a word we usually associate with painting, image, thinking, vision perception, movie etc.
Distorted or distortion sounds more classy than the meaning of it actually is. The literal meaning of distortion is: pulled or twisted, out of shape, contorted, misrepresented or giving a misleading impression. But i'll particularly be talking about the link between distortion and art.

Basically calling an art piece as distorted is usually confused with the work style of the artist and the selection of images he/she has painting or replicating. If some one has a unique style of painting like impressionism or knife painting which is actually a very versatile and a difficult style of painting.

Impressionism Painting

Knife Painting

So no matter what medium you are working in, either oil painting or a digital painting, it takes some how same amount of time. Every artist has his own style of working and every artist portrays the true emotion and effort.
In my next blog i will be discussing in detail about impressionism. What is impressionism, when was this style introduced and who were and are the famous impressionism artists.
Till then keep appreciating the young artists and their work so they get enough motivation to work more hard and continuous to produce a good amount of productive work! :)

Fusion of Art and Life

This art is created by Habiba Azhar, a graphic designer and an artist by profession. This art piece is a print achieved through a technique which is termed as Dry Point in print making. Drypoint  is a printmaking  technique of the intaglio   family, in which an image is incised into a plate (or "matrix") with a hard-pointed "needle" of sharp metal or diamond point. In principle the method is practically identical to engraving . Chin-colle technique is also added to this particular print. The artist explains the interpretation of her art piece as life is same as these chemical tubes, each tube has a different substance but they never get mixed with the next tube despite the fact being on the same palette. Life has different emotions and spices to offer, a person experiences every spice of life yet it doesn’t get affected by the other one which he just experience few years back. He gets a chance to experience all of it in one life same as the single chemical pa...

Waiting for you since forever

Sitting on the path hoping to find you on my way,  The path I am unaware of, fogging up the view.  Looking on the clock ticking every moment But no sign of you coming towards my way. The time that passed by, The moment of feel gone by, Wind touching the soul like a feel after a cold war. Feel of a wonderful imagination, Or a princess of the Disney land.  The one who’s gone would never come back  But I still wish to see you again.  The tears dropped by,  The nostalgia coming around just make my heart sink. These memories are killing me every moment. When will this wait end,  When will this wound fill. The loneliness fading away with the clinch of facade in my heart.  -HA

The Facts you may not know

Ducks have waterproof feathers . They have a special gland positioned near their tails, called the preen gland or the oil gland. This gland produces oil, which ducks rub over their feathers with their beaks to maintain their waterproof effects. This oil creates a protective barrier that stops feathers becoming waterlogged.
